Douglas K. Eilar, Founder
Doug Eilar’s inquisitive nature and knack for solving noise-control and acoustical issues propelled Eilar Associates for five decades. Founded in 1974, Eilar Associates has assisted residents, businesses, and contractors throughout San Diego County and United States. Whether an economic boom or recession, Doug, a Harvard University graduate, built upon each experience, accumulating expertise in acoustical investigations, environmental impact analyses, site assessments, and a multitude of environmental services. After an admirable fight against pancreatic cancer, Doug passed away in 2013. Eilar’s guiding principles, mentoring, and eclectic spirit remain a vital part of the company’s present and future, including his core mission of helping clients reach resolutions.
